Contacts section updated with Nissan Consumer Affairs contacts
I wanted to make it easy for others to contact Nissan Consumer Affairs if you are experiencing the same problems over and over again like me. These will stay in the contact tab above, and here they are as well:
Nissan Corporate/Consumer Affairs Contacts:
If you are having problems with your Nissan, below are some contacts I’ve been dealing with over the past 4 years in Consumer Affairs at the Corporate office in TN. If you call in with a problem they should open a file each time, so you want to make sure to get that file number for your records to prove you’ve opened a case with Nissan Corporate. Take very detailed notes of everything they say, because I’ve been lied to numerous times by representatives of Nissan (discussed here: Trust and Accountability) so if your case ever goes to court, or even to put together a detailed file like mine, detailed notes including date and time you spoke to people help create a legal record.

I had a recent issue as well. Their Consumer Affairs department does nothing to help the owner with an issue. I purchased a 2013 Pathfinder in March. SInce then the vehicle has been to the dealership 5 times to fix various issues, airbag light, rear wiper, transmission, vinyl on driver door & raised bumps in the driver seat. The dealership failed to fix the driver seat on 3 separate visits. I contacted Consumer Affairs and they got involved. The end result was that CA said their is nothing else they will do becuase the dealer already “attempted” to fix the issue. Thanks for nothing. I’ve owned 6 Nissans and this will be my last. What they don’t tell you is that Nissan consumer affairs is not eve run by Nissan! It is run by Teletech Holdings from 1230 Park Ave, Amerherst, Ohio. The so called Regional Consumer affairs associate is a guy sitting in a cubicle that makes $12.50 an hour and is empowered to authorize$250.00 a complaint which is not very helpful when the CVT Transmission on your new car fails two days after you bought it!

I’ve ran into the same issue. Consumer Affairs can only assist to a certain degree. A Nissan Corporate Manager needs to be made available.Ive spent numerous hours on the phone trying to get a hold of Nissan directly- only to be directed back to consumer affairs. My 2013 pathfinder has CVT transmission failure, passenger side airbag and window modulator failure, and hood latch issues. Write your congressman, notify your local news station and post a sign on the car- Don’t buy Nissan!!!! They need an internal investigation into the CVT- dollar store part to drive down cost- it’s fault and dangerous. All cars on the highway need recalled!!!!!!!!!!
